workshop with ‘writer in residence’ Cat Holman. July 2009

I decided that my aim for the workshops would be simply to encourage people to write, and so I planned the session accordingly. I found some lovely words on the subject by William Carlos Williams, and read these out at the start of the workshop: “Forget all rules, forget all restrictions, as to taste, as to what ought to be said, write for the pleasure of it…”

A total of five people attended the workshop; a great number for the project van, with enough space for everyone to sit and write in their own space..
